Julie Cadbury is head of our Wills and Probate Services, a Solicitor the firm with over 25 years of experience. Julie is able to lead with an extensive breadth of knowledge to offer clients. We have three other Solicitors who work in this field. Home visits can be arranged for elderly and infirm clients.
Some of the matters we deal with are
- Making new Wills.
- Rewriting existing Wills.
- Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney - these allow you to appoint friends or relatives to take charge ofyour estate if you are unable to due to your mental or physical incapacity.
- "Living Wills" - which would enable you to request that you are not given medical attention if you become terminally ill.
- Administering Estates on behalf of appointed Executors.
- Dealing with the estate of people who die without leaving a Will.
- Offering advice on Inheritance Tax issues to minimise the potential tax liabilities on an Estate.
